Update.

Well, I havn't posted for about a month now. It seems I can't bring myself to do anything above the bare minimum necessary to keep going. Pregnancy is not for the birds that is for sure. I have felt pretty dang sick but am trying to remember how blessed and happy we are for this. We had our first Dr.'s appt on Friday. It was amazing. I was pretty disappointed to find out that I am only 9 1/2 weeks along. WHAT? I was sure I was much further than that considering how long I have been sick already. I guess I will have to keep enduring :) Here are a few pictures of what we have been up to the last month, which is not much. Poor Porter has been taking care of everything, after a day of work I can't do a thing when I get home. The thought of food makes me vomit. Thanks to Mom and Britt for making us lots of little dinners! We love you guys!
I took a picture of our ultra sound. It is super blurry but you can see the little guy/girl a little bit!!! Soooo cute already :)
Here is my little tummy. I can feel a little bump already. I am in trouble at this rate but can't wait!
We went to the Mesa Temple Christmas Lights on Friday night with Britt and Aaron. They were beautiful as always and get you in the Christmas spirit!
We had our Christmas Party with Grandma and Grandpa Dayton the day after Thanksgiving. It was tons of fun!

being sick is no fun, but it does go away! Once the sickness goes away the time flies! Well, I hope you feel better soon so you can enjoy all the other fun things, like getting a huge belly ;)
take care girlie.

Hey sis! Cute pics. I feel so bad you have been so sick but when you finally meet the little guy/girl you will know it was all worth it somehow! I have to keep reminding myself of that too. I really hope you start feeling better soon. Someday we will be good wives again... ha! I was laughing so hard thinking about the poor boys the other night trying to find a place to take 2 pregnant women to eat. ha! I think we shot down every suggestion they made. I don't know why we even ask where they want to go.... I mean a Chinese Buffet or Pete's Fish and Chips... they just don't get it! HAHA! And we are no fun! :)

I remember when I was pregnant with Alli and I thought I was 10 weeks but they told me I was only 8! That's the worst. Well it looks like I'm only 3 1/2 weeks behind you:) And I'm already sick. I don't really throw up, I feel like I have the flu everyday all day. But you're right, it is such a blessing.
PS don't comment on my blog about this just yet. I'm waiting to go private

Doms, did you hear the heartbeat? that was my favorite thing... i loved going to the doctor every month and listening to that. If you have a recorder or even on your phone you should record it. I am sorry you are sick. that is awful, it is worth it though, well during the nights you might not think it is worth it when the little baby will not go to sleep.. haha just kidding. being a mother is the best, even with the lack of sleep.

I hope you feel better, and i hope we see you soon... christmas?

oh you poor thing, I feel for you completely! I am one to say that pregnancy is not fun at all! The only thing remotely fun about it is when you feel the baby kick, when you see him/her on an ultrasound, and when he/she is out! Hang in there it's worth it, and the miracle is it's craz that you forget how miserable you were and soon want to do it all over again! (this is why women get pregnant not men...ha ha) Cody was the same, he'd work all day, come home, cook, clean, take care of me, etc. I hope you kick it at 3 months, with both my pregnancies I didn't stop throwing up til 7 1/2 months along a.k.a eternity! Keep the updates going we love to hear from you guys.

Dom-
I had heard from Grandma that you have been pretty sick. I am so sorry, but of course it will be worth it. I had my first dr. appt. a couple weeks ago and I was right where I though, so I guess we are not due the exact time anymore, huh? I hope you get feeling better soon. I love your little belly. It is true that you get bigger, faster on your second, I have quite a bump already.
Love Heidi
